Advanced Self-Testing Method
This test uses the Dried Blood Spot (DBS) technique, proven to be as accurate as venous blood draws for Vitamin D analysis. You only need 1–2 drops of blood from your fingertip applied to a Whatman® filter paper. The collection takes less than a minute.
Independent Laboratory Analysis
Your sample is analyzed by VITAS Analytical Services in Norway, an independent laboratory. Results are anonymous and influenced by sunlight, diet, location, and supplements. Recommended testing interval: every 120 days.
What is Measured
The test measures 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D), the gold standard for Vitamin D assessment. It reflects levels from diet, supplements, and skin synthesis and determines if your Vitamin D level is optimal, too low, or too high. Results can be displayed in nmol/L or ng/mL.
How it Works
Step 1: Prick your finger and apply 1-2 drops of blood onto the filter card.
Step 2: Activate your test online using your personal ID (anonymously).
Step 3: Start your journey to maintaining a healthy Vitamin D level.
Step 4: Your blood sample is analyzed by VITAS (over 25 years of experience).
Step 5: Receive results in 10–20 days with visual graphs.
Step 6: Repeat the test every 4 months to track and maintain optimal levels.
Certified Test Kit
The Zinzino Dried Blood Spot Test complies with European Directive 98/79/EC on in vitro diagnostic medical devices and carries the CE mark.
